Gina, named after the acronym for Gelato Italiano Naturale Artigianale, was opened by gelato artisans who trained under Italy's first gelato champion, Palmiro Bruschi. They carefully select seasonal fruits from Shinshu and imported ingredients from Italy to create authentic gelato using a rare gelato machine, the first of its kind in Japan. The attention to detail is evident in every step of the gelato-making process, from composition to preservation. But Gina isn't just about gelato. They also offer light meals, wine, and a café inspired by Italian bars. Every day from 4 PM to 6 PM is aperitivo time, a fun time before dinner where you can enjoy wine and snacks.
