The Torikoe Festival takes place at Torikoe-jinja Shrine and includes a mikoshi parade and traditional performances. The Senkan Mikoshi, one of the heaviest portable shrines in Tokyo, is a main attraction. The festival draws hundreds of thousands of visitors every June.
